Samantha educates, trains, organizes and engage community members to participate for health and racial equity in their schools and districts. She is also supports developing a curriculum and facilitating trainings in both English and Spanish for leadership development of volunteer residents, parents, students, and allies.
Samantha began volunteering in the community in high school, where she worked in the 2016 election campaign alongside the March for Our Lives chapter in Bakersfield. She also had the opportunity to volunteer for the Bernie Campaign for the 2020 election. Samantha was activated through DHF by working the 2020 elections and Census campaigns as a canvasser and phone banker. She brings experience from working with the Immigration Law Office, a Personal Injury firm, and an internship with Loud4Tomorrow. Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy and Administration.
