WOODLAKE — The ultimate goal of parents in the small town of Woodlake is to make a change in the community by having the school district discontinue sugar sweetened beverages.
The Committee of Parents Advocating for the Health of their Children in conjunction with the Dolores Huerta Foundation hosted their second Grand Parents Convention Advocating for the Health of Our Children on Dec. 5 to continue educating parents about how harmful sugar sweetened beverages can be to their children.
